Week 2: Chapter 6 study questions

I believe that the Internet has changed EVERYTHING including education, culture, institutions, and, of course, politics is not immune to change either. The question is how has it changed these things. It's all about speed and accessibility!

Education has become more open-ended with unlimited possibilities to utilize in education/classroom.

Culture - well - sometimes I think the Internet has made some unethical things more public; and people who use the Internet think that they can say anything, anytime, to anyone because they are virtually invisible.

Institutions have grown more accessible through Internet availability.

Politics - I don't even think you want me to open that can of worms; however, skipping over the mentioned 2004 election (Jenkins, 2006) and going to the most current one, I believe that the Internet had a solid impact in the outcome of the past Presidential election. I better leave it at that.
